Facing the future
Cinghiale has always offered its customers innovative, high quality products that can ensure excellent performance whilst reducing the time and effort associated with paint application.
Continuous research into materials and technical features that offer increasingly high-performance has led to the development of new products: not only paintbrushes with latest-generation Boartex® synthetic fibres, such as those in the Technology line, but also paints with sanitising and bacteriostatic properties, or paint containers featuring a special design, conceived and developed in order to enable them to be easily reused.
Boartex®
The quest to develop a synthetic filament which offers very high levels of performance has given rise to the new filament exclusive to Pennelli Cinghiale, made from filaments that are mechanically formed into a conical shape for optimal paint release. Boartex® blends are designed to offer a professional result with any type of paint.
Synthetic paintbrush filaments come in different shapes and sizes: full round, tapered solid round, full-tip and tapered full-tip to ensure optimal paint loading/ unloading, while the extruded micro-particles on the filaments help hold on to the paint better.
The new Boartex® filaments are used in the production of paintbrushes in our Technology line, innovative products that guarantee the same results as professional natural bristle paintbrushes.
The particular flexibility of this filament also helps save on time and effort, thanks to the superb levels of performance it offers.
Roller with reservoir
One of our goals is to provide high quality products that allow excellent results to be achieved while reducing the effort and time spent. For this reason, our reservoir paint roller has become an important product for us.
As such, we have improved upon the product already on the market through a process of careful research into the most suitable technical characteristics to ensure a reduction in physical effort and a shorter paint application time.
We have selected the best fabrics and meticulously designed the system that enables the paint in the reservoir to pass over the fabric of the roller. Indeed, this process must ensure that only the right amount of paint passes through; the roller must not drip, but at the same time, there must be enough paint to allow an even application.
Natura Attiva - washable water-based paint with bicarbonate of soda
We are constantly engaged in researching new formulations for our paints, with a view to providing our customers with paints that are not only high-performance, but also safe and environmentally friendly, with innovative properties. With this in mind, we have developed a washable water-based paint with bicarbonate of soda, a natural substance with a range of properties: it absorbs odours and moisture, deodorises and sanitises.
The new Natura Attiva paint with bicarbonate of soda is made from more than 95 percent natural raw materials and ensures:
- ACTIVE WHITE effect: the white colour of the paint lasts over time, courtesy of the synergistic interaction with titanium dioxide
- SANITISING effect: prevents bacterial proliferation due to its absorbent properties
- ANTI-ODOUR effect: naturally removes unpleasant odours
Silver ion - sanitising water-based paint
SILVER ION BACTERIOSTATIC PAINT
Studies carried out have demonstrated that silver ions kill the biological molecules necessary for the growth and diffusion of bacteria and funguses, with a long-lasting preventive action.
For this reason, we have developed a washable water-based paint with silver ions, which can block the reproduction of mould, funguses and bacteria and prevent them from settling on treated surfaces. Its effectiveness never diminishes, and it is odourless and harmless.
Silver ions prevent bacteria from multiplying by blocking certain enzymes that are essential for the survival of these micro-organisms.
Cinghiale silver ion paint is tested by an external laboratory in accordance with the ISO 22196:2007 standard against the two most common bacteria: Escherichia Coli and Staphylococcus Aureus. The latter is considered the most common of the many types of bacteria that belong to the Staphylococci genus, which can spread via contaminated objects or surfaces.
Seletti reusable paint containers
The result of a collaboration with one of our neighbouring companies, Seletti - a famous design brand from Cicognara - Seletti paint containers are a real novelty in the field of paint packaging: they represent the only paint container out there designed and made to be creatively reused.
Indeed, with a bit of imagination, these tin containers can easily be transformed into household objects; with four different graphic designs, they complement any type of environment, and can easily be turned into side tables, storage containers or plant pots.
In order to make them easy to reuse, these containers were designed with special care: the outer label can be removed in one simple move without leaving any residue, while the paint inside is contained within a special Eco-Rivest bag, which prevents the paint from leaking into the environment, as well as leaving the tin clean once removed.
